- Learn and apply power scheduling, transaction management, electronic tagging, and natural gas scheduling processes across wholesale energy markets.
- Monitor, validate, and maintain operational, market, transmission, fuel, and transaction data to support reporting, forecasting, settlements, and business decisions.
- Develop reports, dashboards, presentations, and market analyses that provide valuable insights for department leadership and commercial decision-making.
- Partner with internal teams to investigate discrepancies, improve reporting processes, and support accounting, settlements, and regulatory compliance.
- Continuously expand your knowledge of energy markets, trading practices, transmission operations, and commercial analytics through structured training and hands-on experience.
What You'll Need
- Bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, engineering, mathematics, energy management, data analytics, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to organize data, identify trends, and communicate findings clearly.
- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information while following data governance and cybersecurity standards.
Preferred
- Internship, coursework, or project experience related to energy markets, finance, economics, engineering, or analytics.
- Experience creating reports, dashboards, or presentations using Excel or similar analytical tools.
- Interest in wholesale power markets, natural gas operations, commercial analytics, or energy trading.
