Job description

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Help Desk Specialist to support a company focused on enterprise IT and cybersecurity services for government networks. This position is on-site at Kansas City, Missouri. The Help Desk Specialist will provide first-level technical support and troubleshooting for end users accessing a large-scale enterprise network environment. This is a great position to get your foot in the door in a cleared IT environment. Responsibilities for the Help Desk Specialist include: * Provide Tier I technical support for end users, resolving issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity
* Troubleshoot and support devices including laptops, desktops, printers, and mobile devices
* Assist users with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and video teleconferencing (VTC) tools
* Document, track, and resolve service tickets in accordance with service level agreements
* Escalate complex technical issues to higher-tier support teams as needed Required Qualifications for the Help Desk Specialist include: * 0-6 months of experience in IT support, help desk, or related field
* Experience supporting desktop environments, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic networking issues
* Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills
* CompTIA Security+ (Sec+) certification required
* Active Secret Clearance required Compensation for the Help Desk Specialist include: * Salary Range: $60,000 depending on experience
