Work Hours:ย M-F (37 hours)
Work Location: Wilmington, DE (Must be within an hour of the job site)

  • Support the development and management of the data infrastructure for the DOJ Data Lab Assist in data pipelines and ETL processes.
  • Ensure data security, compliance, and optimization Automate workflows to support real-time data access.

Required Experience: ย ย 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • 3โ€“5 years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or cloud engineering.
  • Proficient in SQL and at least one programming language (Python, Java, or Scala).
  • Experience with Azure or another cloud platform.
  • Familiarity with containerization/orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity, data governance, and compliance.

Preferred Skills:ย 

  • Experience in government, public safety, or legal data environments.
  • Certification in Cloud Engineering, Data Engineering, or Security.
  • Familiarity with GIS data, real-time streaming technologies, or Airflow.
