Join Deloitte's Cloud Cyber Security practice as a GCP Forward Deployed Engineer, Senior Consultant and help organizations secure Google Cloud Platform (GCP) cloud and artificial intelligence (AI) workloads at scale. In this hands-on role, you will work directly with client engineering teams to design, build, ship, and operate secure-by-default GCP environments and automated security controls across generative AI services, container and data platforms, infrastructure-as-code, and secure delivery pipelines. The team focuses on helping clients move from recommendations to implemented controls that support security outcomes in production environments.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 5+ years of experience in cloud security, cybersecurity, technology risk, or technology consulting.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience designing, building, or operating security solutions in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments.
  • 2+ years of experience using Terraform to deploy infrastructure-as-code in production environments.
  • Experience implementing policy-as-code and guardrail frameworks, including Google Cloud Organization Policies, Open Policy Agent, Checkov, or tfsec.
  • Experience integrating security controls into continuous integration/continuous delivery pipelines, including static application security testing (SAST), dynamic application security testing (DAST), software composition analysis, secrets scanning, or infrastructure-as-code scanning, and developing automation using Python, Bash, or Go to build and ship automated remediation.

At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
