Job description

Chubb is currently seeking a Senior Underwriter for the Cyber team in Los Angeles, CA.  Within this role the Senior Underwriter will be expected to develop and maintain a broad network of brokerage relationships, underwrite, and service existing renewals and new business, and expand distribution and new business.  Cross-marketing with other Chubb products and lines of business will be required as well. 

Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Underwriting a book of Cyber related products in the Pacific South Region that include Cyber and Privacy Liability and Technology Errors & Omissions
  • Soliciting new and renewal submissions from brokers
  • Determining terms, conditions and complex rating plans
  • Representing the company at client meetings
  • Documenting underwriting files
  • Servicing accounts throughout the policy cycle

  • Bachelors degree
  • Must possess an in-depth knowledge of Cyber and Privacy Liability products and concepts
  • 3+ years underwriting experience within Cyber and Tech E&O is preferred
  • Experience developing and maintaining a broad network of brokerage relationships, negotiation skills, business acumen and strong oral and written communication skills are essential

The pay range for the role is $100,000 to $135,000. The specific offer will depend on an applicant's skills and other factors.
