Principal Cyber Engineer – Cyber Offense and Defense Experts (CODEX)

Job Overview
The Principal Cyber Engineer will work on site with end users, solving real‑time cyber challenges and integrating reverse engineering results into native mobile applications for Android and iOS. This position requires collaboration with developers to build high‑impact mobile applications, providing continuous and meaningful feedback to meet development objectives and customer requirements.
Location: Customer site in Chantilly, Virginia.
Technical Requirements
- Current TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph required
- Experience with team or task leadership and customer interaction
- Experience developing for Android or iOS mobile platforms
- Experience with vulnerability assessment on Android or another mobile platform
- At least 5 years of experience with C/C++ on Unix/Linux platforms using Make/CMake build systems
- Familiarity with static decompilers (e.g., HexRays) and disassemblers (e.g., Ghidra)
- Experience developing against or working with large open‑source projects (e.g., AOSP)
- Desired: Understanding of CNE techniques and methodologies on Android and Linux
- Desired: Experience with the ARM64/ARM32 Architecture or similar
- Desired: Familiarity with Atlassian products (Bitbucket, Bamboo, JIRA, etc.) and version control software such as git
- Desired: Reverse engineering ARM binaries and developing proof‑of‑concept exploit software

- Requires a degree in a technical discipline
Salary & Benefits
The salary for this position ranges from $122,000–$253,000 and is commensurate with the selected candidate’s qualifications, years of relevant experience, and demonstrated level of expertise.
