Position Title: AI/ML Cybersecurity Engineer (Anomaly Detection)

Location: Placentia, CA


Pay Rate: The annual salary range for this position is $125,000 - $140,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. RTL Networks considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Status: Full-time / On-site with ability to travel to China Lake one week per quarter.

Summary:

RTL Networks has an exciting opportunity for a DOD Secret cleared AI/ML Cybersecurity Engineer working as a member of a team applying AI/ML techniques for anomaly detection.


Primary Responsibilities:

Essential responsibilities of the AI/ML Cybersecurity Engineer include, but are not limited to:

  • Must have proven track record of success applying AI/ML techniques to detect anomalies or other cybersecurity-relevant events.
  • Must be strong in Python, Pandas, C/C++.
  • Must have strong cybersecurity background and knowledge.
  • Should have experience working with/developing embedded DoD devices.
  • Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analysis skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
  • Availability to travel one week per quarter.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a STEM related discipline with 10+ years of experience.
  • Must have current/active SECRET DoD Clearance.

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time.
  • Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically.

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for clearance at this location.

  • The applicant selected for this position must have and be able to maintain an Active Security Clearance.
