Job description

Responsibilities Program Description: The program provides Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) core and non-core support in the areas of Cyber Security and Management to improve the Information Assurance (IA) posture of a National customer. The contracts Core Capabilities are: IA Management, Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) coordination and reporting, Risk Management Framework (RMF) application, IA compliance measurements and metrics, Assessment and Authorization (A&A), Vulnerability Management, and Cyber Defense support. Position Description: The Cybersecurity Systems Engineer provides support to the customer in the area of Cyber Security. Daily. Tasks include, but are not limited to: * Work collaboratively with Risk Management stakeholders in the advancement and implementation of process improvements and modernization efforts to automate and/or improve Risk Management decision timelines.
* Provide senior-level support to the senior government leadership in collaboration with other SETAs and stakeholders.
* Assist in the development of project reviews and portfolio roadmaps; inform government leads on status and progress of all projects.
* Produce high-quality papers, presentations, recommendations, and findings for senior US government intelligence and operations officials appropriate to the level of the intended audience
* Assist in the development of technical requirements.
* Analyze policies and procedures against Federal laws and regulations and provide recommendations for closing gaps.
* Develop strategies to comply with privacy and risk management requirements.
Qualifications Required Qualifications: * BS with 10-12 years of experience, MS with 8-10 years of experience, Ph.D. with 5-7 years of experience
* Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI with Poly
* Able to support customer's core hours (0900-1500; Mon - Fri)
* A Cyber Certification (DoD 8570/8140)
* Work collaboratively with Risk Management stakeholders in the advancement and implementation of process improvements and modernization efforts to automate and/or improve Risk Management decision timelines

* Ability to organize and prioritize numerous customer requests in a fast pace deadline driven environment
* Knowledgeability of customer's tools and infrastructure
* Familiarity with customer's IA processes
* Bachelors of Science Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) * Self-starter requiring limited direction and supervision
* Experience briefing senior customer personnel
* Ability to organize and prioritize numerous customer requests in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
* Familiarity with Enterprise Cross Domain Solutions (ECDS)
* Experience supporting IC or DoD in the Cyber Security Domain

There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
