One of our clients in Fort Belvoir, VA needs a Cyber Security Systems Engineer for a permanent position.

Job Details

Basic Responsibilities

The desired candidate will have experience in at least one of the following areas and an interest in learning the others:

  • The DoD Cross Domain Approval Process
  • DoD Cyber Supply Chain Risk Management
  • Mission Assurance (Mission Essential Functions (MEF), Joint Mission Essential Task Lists, Mission Decomposition, Mission Relevant Terrain Cyber (MRTC) and Mission Assurance Decision Support System (MADDS))
  • DoD Risk Management Framework (eMASS and Common Controls)
  • DoD Policies on Removable Media Policies and Portable Electronic Devices

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Cyber Security with the ability to take that knowledge of mission, threats, risks, vulnerabilities, mitigations, compliance, and risk acceptance, and apply it to several different disciplines. You should be very familiar with at least one of the following DoD Policies:

  • DoDI 8540 Cross Domain Policy
  • DoDI 5200.44 Trusted Systems and Networking
  • CNSSP 26 โ€“ National Policy on Reducing the Risk of Removable Media for National Security Systems (NSS)
