Job Description
ECS is seeking a System Administrator - Journeyman to support the Army National Guard's mission-critical enterprise IT infrastructure and cybersecurity operations.
Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.
The Army National Guard (ARNG) Enterprise Network Operations and Cybersecurity Support (ENOCS) program delivers comprehensive enterprise IT infrastructure, WAN, cybersecurity, and associated services to the ARNG and its mission partners. The program supports more than 120,000 users and 141,000 endpoints across approximately 2,800 sites spanning 54 states and territories, enabling Title 10 and Title 32 missions, domestic emergency response operations, mobilization readiness, and classified SIPRNet operations.
Task 4 - Enterprise Operations Support - provides 24/7/365 network monitoring, control, and management from the RCC-ARNG Network Operations Center (NOC) over classified and unclassified networks, delivering DoDIN services including data, voice, and video across the ARNG's distributed enterprise infrastructure.
Responsibilities
  • Administer enterprise systems to maintain operational availability and ensure compliance with configuration management procedures.
  • Apply system updates and manage configurations to support system health and performance.
  • Monitor system health metrics and perform troubleshooting to resolve hardware and software issues.
  • Document changes in alignment with enterprise change management and configuration control procedures.
  • Ensure systems are secure and resilient, adhering to DoD cybersecurity policies and operational standards.
  • Support patch compliance and performance monitoring across DoDIN-connected environments.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance system security and operational efficiency.
  • Implement and maintain security measures in accordance with RMF requirements and STIG guidance.

Required Qualifications
  • Clearance: Secret Eligible required
  • S. Citizenship required
  • DoD 8140.03 Compliance: DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) Work Role 451-System Administrator at the Intermediate proficiency level
  • Certifications (one or more required): Cloud+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+, SSCP
  • Education: Bachelors in [Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering]
  • Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in supporting enterprise systems within DoD or Federal network environments.
  • Demonstrated experience in administering DoDIN-connected systems to ensure operational availability and compliance.
  • Experience in applying system updates and managing configurations.
  • Proficiency in monitoring system health metrics and troubleshooting issues.
  • Knowledge of DoD cybersecurity policies and enterprise operational standards.
