Job description

Overview: CDT is seeking a Cyber and IT Intern to participate in a short-term internship program. This internship is designed as a learning and professional development opportunity for individuals interested in cybersecurity, technology, and business operations. The intern will gain exposure to cybersecurity concepts, industry best practices, and the role cybersecurity plays in supporting business objectives.
Duration: 5-6 weeks
Schedule: Approximately 5-6 hours per week
Responsibilities
  • Participate in discussions and learning sessions related to cybersecurity fundamentals and emerging industry trends.
  • Gain exposure to technology, cybersecurity, and business functions within an organization.
  • Assist with research, documentation, and other project-based assignments as needed.
  • Learn about cybersecurity policies, risk management, compliance, and security awareness practices.
  • Attend meetings and collaborate with team members to understand how cybersecurity supports business operations.
  • Complete assigned learning activities and contribute to discussions on cybersecurity topics.
Qualifications
  • Must be 16 years of age.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Must be able to successfully complete any required background screening and security requirement if required.
