GIGATEC Engineering is seeking a Kubernetes Software Engineer to contribute to a mission-focused enterprise web application. The role involves collaboration with various teams to design and enhance software capabilities in a containerized environment.
Responsibilities:
• The Software Engineer will play a key role in building and sustaining a mission-focused enterprise web application deployed in a containerized Kubernetes Linux environment.
• This position offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with Product Owners, System Engineers, and Software Engineers to design, develop, test, troubleshoot, and enhance critical software capabilities.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Experience using the Linux CLI and Tool Suite
• Experience developing Bash/Python scripts
• Experience developing with Python in a Linux environment
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker
• Familiar with container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes
• Experience creating Helm Charts to deploy containerized services on Kubernetes
• Experience with SQL technologies such as MySQL
• Experience with designing and implementing REST interfaces
• Experience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools such as GitLab CI
• Experience with Git Source Control System
