Aikido Security

San Francisco, CA โ€ข On-site

Full-time

Job description

We're making security suck less for developers.
Security tools haven't kept up with how software is built today. They interrupt teams, slow releases, and turn security into a bottleneck instead of a capability. We built Aikido to change that. Aikido builds developer-first security products that reduce real risk without getting in the way of shipping software. We focus on what actually matters and automate the rest.
We're taking on legacy security tools teams have been stuck with, and we're winning. If you want to help us take market share and build products developers actually enjoy using, you're in the right place.
Founded in 2022 by third-time founders, Aikido has $85M in the bank, a long runway ahead, and unicorn status. We're building toward self-securing software. Join an all-star team. Take real ownership. Push boundaries. Build things that matter.
We're looking for a Brand Marketer to make Aikido unignorable. This role owns the planning and execution of campaigns that put Aikido in front of developers and security teams, from video launches to out-of-home. You'll brief and manage creative production (in-house or via agencies/freelancers), keep campaigns on track and on brand, and make sure every launch lands with impact.
Responsibilities
  • Plan and project-manage campaign rollouts end-to-end, from concept to launch
  • Conceive and produce campaign videos (our next OnlyScans, Matrix parody or snake oil productions) for product launches
  • Brief social video and image concepts for campaigns across LinkedIn, Meta, Reddit, Google, etc.
  • Plan and execute out-of-home and unconventional brand activations (billboards, stunts, guerrilla marketing)
  • Coordinate timelines, budgets, and stakeholders to keep campaigns on schedule
  • Collaborate with product and sales teams to translate product launches into compelling creative narratives
  • Analyze creative/campaign performance and iterate on what resonates
  • Manage relationships with creative agencies, freelancers, and production partners as needed

  • 4+ years in brand marketing, creative direction, or campaign management.
  • Track record of producing standout creative (video, social, OOH) that drives awareness.
  • Comfortable pitching bold, unconventional ideas and seeing them through production.
  • Data-driven mindset to back creative bets with performance insight.
  • Understanding of developer or B2B SaaS audiences, or experience in cybersecurity/developer tools/DevOps, is a strong plus.

What you can expect:
  • High-impact position in a fast-growing company.
  • Fast growth of responsibility.
  • Competitive salary package.
  • A company that sticks to its values in an open and informal atmosphere (see our culture page on the website for more details).
  • Flexibility in working hours.

You will be recruited based on competencies. Qualities of people are decisive, regardless of gender, religion, ethnic origin, age, sexual orientation, or disability.
