We are Cybersecurity Engineer/Analyst who will provide expert technical support to implement and interpret cybersecurity standards, policies, and procedures mandated by commercial industry, Federal agencies, and the Department of Defense. This role supports both Offensive and Defensive Cyber Operations, conducts cybersecurity testing and analysis, evaluates system security posture, and develops tools, documentation, and methodologies that enhance cyber readiness and compliance. This position is contingent upon award.
Responsibilities
  • Interpret and implement cybersecurity standards, policies, and procedures across Commercial, Federal, and DoD environments.
  • Plan, support, and conduct Offensive Cyber Operations and Defensive Cyber Operations.
  • Perform cybersecurity testing, vulnerability assessments, and analysis to determine system security posture.
  • Design and develop tools, networks, and test methodologies that support cyber operations and compliance reporting.
  • Develop, review, and evaluate cybersecurity, cyber operations, and information assurance documentation.
  • Provide SME support across major Information Assurance domains, including Computer Network Defense, software security, hardware/firmware, physical security, database management, design/test, and network infrastructure.
    • Assess cybersecurity control implementations, analyze results, and recommend remediation actions.
  • Identify and evaluate vulnerabilities and related security controls and assist in developing plans and procedures for mitigation.
  • Ensure alignment with National Security Agency (NSA) Crypto Modernization requirements.

Required
  • BS or BA degree
  • 3 years of related experience
  • Proficiency in cybersecurity testing, vulnerability assessment methodologies, and security control evaluation.
  • Ability to design and develop tools, scripts, and network architectures that support cyber operations.
  • Demonstrated experience in Information Assurance, including CND, software security, hardware/firmware security, network infrastructure, and physical security.
  • Applicable cybersecurity certifications (e.g., Security+, CEH, CISSP, GSEC) preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting DoW acquisition, engineering programs (military rotary wing of fixed wing platform experience is highly preferred).
  • Must have an in-scope DoW Secret security clearance
