Description Provide legal counsel on data protection, privacy, and cybersecurity matters to a diverse client base. Advise clients on compliance with federal, state, and international data privacy regulations.
Draft and review privacy policies, data-sharing agreements, and other legal documents. Assist clients in responding to data breaches, including regulatory reporting and mitigation strategies. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to address cybersecurity risks and implement compliance programs.
Monitor changes in privacy laws and regulations, providing updates and guidance to clients as needed. Represent clients in regulatory investigations and enforcement actions related to data privacy and cybersecurity. Deliver training and workshops on privacy and cybersecurity legal issues.
Profile A successful candidate should have: A strong educational background in law, with a focus on privacy, data protection, or cybersecurity. Proven ability to navigate complex legal frameworks and provide actionable advice to clients.
