Job description

Federal Project Manager – Cyber Security – Consulting Project Principal Consultant – Oracle – Sacramento, CA

Lead Program Manager for a multi‑billion‑dollar Electronic Health Record Modernization project. Manage cyber security and risk assessments for forward deployed assets and their software in a secure environment at client locations, including connectivity work, server sets, solution upgrades, configuration changes and future contracted integrations. Provide guidance on cyber security related items to the team actively managing cyber authorizations, following NIST and RMF standards and client policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Manage vulnerabilities, patches and maintain server software security; liaise with internal teams to capture required data for authorization packages and client approvals.
  • Collaborate and build relationships with cross‑functional teams and client teams through open communication and meetings to achieve optimal outcomes and resolutions.
  • Manage and coordinate the overall configuration approach, strategy, and the schedule of work within the product area and team.
  • Serve as single point for intake of cyber work from other task orders to coordinate and align resources.
  • Work closely with consulting, integration, client, engineering and architecture teams across global regions to align and deliver product configuration/cyber deliverables to client requirements and scope of work.
  • Represent the Oracle Health cyber team during leadership calls, manage one‑off client requests, and generate weekly, bi‑weekly, and monthly reports.
  • Coordinate activities between client, consulting, development and system authorization teams to create a plan of action for cyber authorization approvals.
  • Lead the client reference and child server cyber project, as well as client cyber vulnerability monitoring and resolution coordination with consulting, delivery, or development teams.
  • Create, review, or update cyber documentation and procedures to manage risk within servers and software.
  • Present briefings to internal and external leadership and stakeholders regarding solution functionality, risk analysis, security controls, requirements, contractual items, and vulnerabilities.
Qualifications
  • US Citizen, clearance eligible.
  • Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience; additional applicable experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum eight years' experience in IT engineering, information system security management, and/or operations in a federal customer cybersecurity environment.
  • Familiarity with Splunk or other SIEMs.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including experience writing and delivering status reports, meeting minutes, project documentation, presentations, and leading meetings.
  • Strong multitasking skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience supporting technical projects, particularly cybersecurity projects.
  • Ability to work on multiple simultaneous, technically complex projects.
Preferred Security Certifications
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
  • Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
  • Security+ (Plus), CompTIA
  • Other CompTIA cybersecurity certifications
