Position Overviewย 

Ourย Consultingย Practice is seeking an Consulting Systems Engineerย to join ourย Cyber Consulting team. In this dynamic role, you will work with ourย Consultants, Manager and VPย and collaborate withย corporate and private equity clients,ย working onย cybersecurity and technology operations assessmentsย to document the current state,ย identifyย risks, and develop strategic long-term road maps.ย ย You will collaborate with team members to configure and deployย Thriveโ€™sย autonomous penetration testing solution,ย vulnerability scanner, and networkย discovery toolsย while providing expert briefings to customers on key findings and remediation strategies.ย 

Responsibilitiesย 

  • Participateย onย teams serving clients across industries whileย establishingย trusted relationshipsย with client counterpartsย 

  • Facilitateย due diligenceย processesย focused onย identifyingย cybersecurity,ย operational and technology strategy, organizational structures, and current stateย risks.ย 

  • Facilitateย the process ofย developingย strategic, prioritized recommendations based on customer collaboration during consulting engagements.ย 

  • Collaborate inย scopingย futureย engagements and proposalsย based on findings and customer priorities.ย 

  • Collaborate in developingย comprehensive documentation for clients reflecting current state and long-term strategyย 

  • Collaborate in assessingย client cybersecurity and technology investment strategies against recognized standards and industry benchmarks,ย identifyย gaps and improvement opportunities.ย 

  • Work with his supervisor inย identifyingย opportunities to recommendย appropriate Thriveย products and services aligned to client strategy, priorities, and requirements.ย 

  • Developย executive-ready client presentations that capture current state, key findings, and long-term strategy recommendations.ย 

Qualificationsย 

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree or equivalent accreditation in a related discipline (e.g.ย Operations Management, Management Information Systems, Information Technology)ย ย 

  • Minimum ofย fiveย (5) yearsโ€™ experience inย cybersecurity or ITย ย 

  • Existing CISSP or CISM certification or willingness to rapidly achieve certification is preferredย 

  • Knowledge of industry-standard cyber security frameworks, including the CIS controlsย 

  • Ability to present to both technical and non-technical audiences at levels up toย managementย 

  • Administrative-level knowledge in the following areas:ย 

  • VMwareย and Hyper-V virtualization platformsย 

  • Windows, UNIX, Linux OSย 

  • Microsoft 365ย 

  • Entra ID IAMย 

  • Azure,ย AWSย and/or Google public cloudsย 

  • Networkย Infrastructureย 

  • Operational and technology experience in MSP, MSSP, software/hi-tech, healthcare, and/or manufacturing & distribution organizationsย ย 

  • Ability toย assistย inย creatingย customer-facing documents and presentationsย ย 

  • Candidates must be eligible to work permanently in theย USย 

  • Ability to travel asย requiredย ย
