Alliant’s Cyber Consulting team works with a broad spectrum of Alliant clients, including a wide array of Cyber Risk, Security, Governance, and Compliance advisory and consulting engagements. Our expert team of Cyber specialists assist Alliant’s clients in enhancing the resilience of their data, people, operations and reputation. The Alliant Cyber Consulting team engages with and supports Alliant’s clients through every step of their journey toward enhanced cyber resilience. We are looking for bright, inquisitive minds who are experienced in and passionate about Cyber Security and Risk Management consulting and advisory services. Our Cyber Consulting team responds to our Client’s needs, and provides strategic guidance when and where it is needed the most.

  • Serve as a technical resource that leverages your knowledge, skills, and experience to help deliver results to clients.
  • Lead and support a variety of cyber risk, security, and advisory engagements.
  • Ability to clearly communicate risk, security, and technical findings to a variety of clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Develop and present comprehensive and accurate reports, deliverables, and presentations for both technical and executive audiences.
  • Work with Client’s security, risk management, and IT operations teams to guide implementation and strategic program maturity roadmaps.
  • Effectively communicate findings and strategies to technical staff, executive leadership, risk management, and to both internal and external clients.
  • Collaborate with Alliant Cyber Consulting colleagues to build and execute plans.
  • Understanding Client objectives, business drivers, and taking that information to recommend strategies, architectures, roadmaps, operating models, KPIs, to measure and monitor benefits realization.
  • Support the development of proposals and statements of work for Alliant clients
  • Support the development of new business opportunities
  • Assist with Cyber Consulting practice operations and back-office support activities.
  • Contribute to the development and advancement of complex cybersecurity engagements
  • Build presentations for diverse audiences, ranging from private industry to public entities.
  • Foster client relationships by providing support, information, and guidance
  • Escalate client issues appropriately that could threaten or enhance opportunity to the Alliant/client relationship
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree in an information technology discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3 to 7 years+ of relevant work experience in Cyber Risk, Security, Governance, and/or Compliance
  • Experience with industry-leading frameworks (CIS, NIST, ISO) and auditing against those frameworks
  • Working knowledge of common Cyber Risk & Security Frameworks, such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CMMC, and CIS Controls.
  • Experience with Cyber and Technology Diligence in the context of Private Equity firm activity, and/or Mergers & Acquisitions.
  • General experience in Cyber Risk Management, Security, Technology Risk Management, Vendor Risk Management, Cyber Incident Response Readiness, Business Continuity Planning, and Disaster Recovery are all strongly desired.
  • Experience as an operator preferred
  • Experience working for companies between 50 million and 250 million in revenue in a wide variety of industries
