Job description

When you join Verizon
You want more out of a career. A place to share your ideas freely - even if they're daring or different. Where the true you can learn, grow, and thrive. At Verizon, we power and empower how people live, work and play by connecting them to what brings them joy. We do what we love - driving innovation, creativity, and impact in the world. Our V Team is a community of people who anticipate, lead, and believe that listening is where learning begins. In crisis and in celebration, we come together - lifting our communities and building trust in how we show up, everywhere & always. Want in? Join the #VTeamLife.
What you'll be doing...
This position is within the Verizon Business Group (VBG), Mobile Wireless Pricing and Promo Implementation team - serving the VBG Pricing and Promo organization. Our mission is to develop and implement compelling customer value propositions through pricing, promotions, and positioning to help drive growth.
Our team manages all operations of VBG mobile wireless pricing and promotions. We are deeply focused on the customer experience, striving to deliver exceptional value by transforming pricing and promotions into a seamless, friction-free competitive advantage.
As a Program and Project Management - Senior Manager, you will act as a true "Execution Manager," leveraging your strong business acumen to lead cross-functional teams through the implementation of complex VBG pricing and promotion programs. You will serve as the commercialization engine for the team, bridging our network capabilities-specifically our 5G Core Network-with our market-facing pricing strategies. While your primary focus is on pricing and promotions, you will occasionally consult with product teams to support the pricing and promotional elements of their launches.
Responsibilities will include:
  • End-to-End Execution and Commercialization: Drive the seamless execution of pricing and promotional offers. You will leverage your understanding of 5G Core Network capabilities to help shape and implement market-leading commercial strategies.
  • Customer Experience (CX) and Accuracy: Ensure high-quality implementation integrity. You will focus on delivering a flawless customer experience by ensuring pricing accuracy from the point of sale to the final invoice, actively working to remove internal complexities that cause customer friction.
  • Bridge Technical Complexity and Business Strategy: Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for complex pricing architectures and legacy transitions. You will lead technical discovery sessions, define scope during stakeholder intake, and troubleshoot pricing logic across backend systems (CPI, OMP/Bookshelf, EPC) before GTS development begins, during GTS development and post launch.
  • Program Management and Accelerated Delivery: Proactively manage project scopes, budgets, and aggressive timelines. You will establish rigorous cross-functional governance and risk mitigation plans across Strategy, IT/GTS, and Digital teams to ensure quick, high-quality deliverables.
  • AI Exploration and Process Automation: Champion the team's ongoing exploration of AI-assisted workflows. You will pilot practical AI integrations, utilizing tools like LLMs to audit user stories, flag missing requirements, and automate the validation of promotional stacks to reduce manual effort.
  • Stakeholder Orchestration: Utilize strong negotiation and influence skills to align cross-functional partners (including 3rd party vendors, GTS, Network and VCG counterparts). You will foster a culture of transparent communication and accountability to drive organizational excellence.

What we're looking for...
You are a strategic thinker with sharp business acumen and an absolute passion for execution. You understand the business implications of the 5G Core Network and know how to translate those capabilities into compelling pricing and promotional strategies. You are curious about the future of work and are actively exploring how AI can be practically incorporated to optimize daily execution. You are an extremely detail-oriented, results-driven professional who moves quickly from deliberation to decision. With highly developed communication skills, you can clearly articulate system limitations and vetted solutions to executive leadership, driving consensus from diverse teams without direct authority.
You'll need to have:
  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.
  • Experience in pricing, promotions, portfolio strategy, or commercialization.
  • Business acumen skills with knowledge of 5G Core Network capabilities and how they directly relate to commercial pricing and promotional strategies.
  • Experience managing scope and bridging technical backend platforms with front-end business strategies (such as CPI, OMP/Bookshelf, or EPC).
  • Experience managing complex, high-stakes implementations with a strong focus on execution, billing accuracy, and customer experience.
  • Experience leading cross-functional stakeholder meetings, implementing program governance, and proactively managing project risks.
  • Project or Program Management experience (particularly Jira and Agile methodologies) with a heavy focus on delivery.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:
  • Master of Business Administration degree (MBA).
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively translate network and IT concepts into clear commercialization strategies for leadership.
  • An active interest in and understanding of how to incorporate foundational AI applications (like LLMs) into business processes to improve operational execution and auditing.
  • Strong financial acumen, with the ability to prioritize initiatives that drive business growth and optimize commercial outcomes.
  • Experience managing multiple high-priority deliverables at the same time in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in Verizon Wireless data, pricing, and systems (B360, OMNI Legacy, My Business/My Business Assistant, VISION, CXP, CPI, EPC, ACSS) or modern equivalent platforms.

If Verizon and this role sound like a fit for you, we encourage you to apply even if you don't meet every "even better" qualification listed above.
