Job description

Who we are:

At Integrated Engineering, our mission is to unlock the thrill of driving for everyone, regardless of technical ability. From the daily commute to the open road, we believe every drive should be something to look forward to.

About the role:

We are looking for someone passionate about creating the world's most thrilling customer driving experience. As Marketing Operations Manager, you'll build the engine behind our brand; shaping end-to-end content workflows, optimizing production schedules, and powering seamless campaign launches for vehicle enthusiasts around the globe.

Responsibilities and Essential Duties:
  • Own the content production process from intake through publishing.
  • Manage the content calendar and pipeline across all channels and activities.
  • Turn marketing priorities and campaign plans into clear schedules, assignments, and deadlines.
  • Oversee the daily workflow of a 4 to 6 person content team.
  • Set realistic capacity expectations by content type, spot workload imbalances early, and adjust resourcing as needed.
  • Manage freelancers, photographers, videographers, and agencies when the team needs extra hands or specialized skills.
  • Keep briefs, scopes, timelines, and approvals clear so creators can focus on making great content.
  • Build and maintain QA checklists and approval steps, and keep brand voice, visual identity, and product claims consistent across everything published.
  • Partner with content strategists and subject-matter experts to keep automotive content accurate and credible with enthusiast audiences.
  • Prioritize content around launches, campaigns, and business goals, with an eye on what's coming (product launches, builds, events, shoots, promotions, and seasonal moments).
  • Track KPIs like on-time delivery, cycle time, revisions, and throughput, and use that data to spot what's working and what needs to change.
  • Give marketing leadership a clear, simple view of what's being produced, what's delayed, and why.
  • Own the team's project management and workflow tools (Asana, Monday, ClickUp, Airtable, or similar), including naming, tagging, and status conventions.
  • Keep the digital asset library organized.
  • Be the go-between for the content team and product, engineering, e-commerce, paid media, and sales on launches and campaigns.
  • Manage production budgets, freelance spend, equipment, and agency costs, and know when to build in-house versus bring in outside help.
  • Keep a bench of reliable outside creative and production partners.
  • Create and maintain a safe, trusting, and inclusive work environment that adheres to best practices and promotes high morale.
Preferred Skills and Competencies:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • 5 or more years running content or marketing operations, production, or project management inside a marketing or creative team.
  • A track record of managing a content pipeline across multiple channels at once.
  • Experience managing people and outside resources, whether direct reports, freelancers, or agencies.
  • Comfortable running project management tools like Asana, Monday, ClickUp, or Airtable.
  • Experience building and enforcing quality standards, briefs, and approval steps.
  • Good attitude at all times, flexible and adaptable to change.
  • Experience in automotive, performance, outdoor, or another enthusiast-driven category.
  • Working knowledge of lean manufacturing principles such as 5S, operational flow, and the 7 wastes.
Why Join Integrated Engineering:
  • Develop products that are installed on enthusiast vehicles around the world
  • Work directly with vehicles, prototypes, and testing equipment
  • Collaborate with a passionate team of engineers, technicians, and automotive enthusiasts
  • Medical, dental, vision, generous PTO, and 401(k) with company match
IE Values and Expected Behaviors:

Team members are expected to support the organization's vision and culture by following the employee handbook and exemplifying the company's core values:

  • Can-do Attitude: We show grit and perseverance. We lean into every challenge and get it done.
  • Fearlessness: We're bold and unafraid to fail. We take risks and revel in crushing competitors.
  • Mastery of Craft: We strive to be the best at what we do. We continually learn and hone our skills.
  • Next-Level CX: We sweat the details and prioritize customers in everything we do.
  • Greater Good: We think bigger than ourselves. We act with respect and make smart, long-term decisions.
