Job description

The Distribution Center RX Supervisor manages day-to-day operations of Rx distribution center operations, ensuring efficient workflow and achieving results within the area.

In this role, you will manages a team of employees working in different departments, such as order processing, inventory management, shipping, and receiving. You will implement and optimize distribution center standard operating procedures to enhance productivity and minimize errors.
Coordinates processes and assignments for distribution center activities, ensuring constant compliance with internal standards and external regulatory requirements.

Additional responsibilities include:


-Coordinates the receipt, storage, and shipment of materials in accordance with established guidelines.
-Implements quality control measures and regular audits to verify that medications are being picked, packed, and shipped correctly.
-Maintains a safe and clean work environment by ensuring adherence to safety protocols and conducting regular safety training for staff to prevent accidents or incidents.
-Assists in defining project terms and goals for data collection initiatives.
Ensures compliance with policies and procedures related to data collection, warehouse operations, and equipment usage.

**This is a 2nd shift role. Hours are roughly 3:30pm-12:00am Monday -Friday with additional flexibility needed based on business volume and needs***

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in a Distribution Center, Production, or Manufacturing environment

  • Minimum 2+ years experience with MS Office

Preferred Qualifications

  • WMS experience

  • Bilingual

  • Supervised +30 associates

  • Ability to work multiple shifts or departments

  • Ability to maintain strict level of confidentiality

  • Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely

  • Ability to exercise sound judgement and work independently with minimal supervision

  • Ability to act quickly and competently in emergencies

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Lean Six-Sigma experience

  • Verifiable High School Diploma/GED

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$43,888.00 - $93,574.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
