Position Summary Directs workflow for warehouse employees and leads their team to meet and exceed daily targets. Manages day‐to‐day work operations and evaluates work performance. Assists manager in overall leadership and operations with initiative, leadership, and continuous improvement thinking. Availability to work 1st shift, on‐site in Knoxville, TN from Monday‐Friday from 6:00AM (8‐hour shifts) with some additional flexibility is required. What you will do Assist with coordination of processes and assignments for the distribution area to ensure the delivery of consistent work products. Execute daily activities and operational plans for the distribution area's strategies to enhance the culture of excellence and innovation across the enterprise. Manage day‐to‐day operations in a warehouse section to ensure daily targets are met or exceeded. Conduct performance appraisals using various reports, summaries, and procedures to resolve problems and improve employee efficiency and warehouse operations. Analyze reports and provide recommendations to the operations manager on best practices for the section. Coordinate processes and assignments for areas within the warehouse to achieve a balanced workload and meet daily operational metrics. Define terms for conducting tasks and establish new priorities for assignments to meet operational success. Manage team performance through regular, timely feedback and the formal performance review process to ensure delivery of exceptional services and engagement, motivation, and team development. Required Qualifications 3+ years of work experience in logistics 2+ years of people leadership experience Verifiable high school diploma or GED Preferred Qualifications 4+ years of supervisory experience Working knowledge of collaboration and teamwork Working knowledge of execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skills 2+ years of experience in a warehouse or distribution center 2+ years of experience working with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Working knowledge of business intelligence problem solving and decision‐making skills Adept at growth mindset and agility Education Verifiable high school diploma or GED. Anticipated Weekly Hours 40 Time Type Full time Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $43,888.00 - $76,500.00. The actual base salary offer will depend on experience, education, geography and other factors.
