Position Summary
The Distribution Center Supervisor is responsible for leading day-to-day warehouse operations within a defined functional area of the distribution center. This role drives safety, service, productivity, quality, and colleague engagement while ensuring work is completed accurately and on time. The supervisor leads frontline colleagues, monitors operational performance, addresses issues in real time, and partners across departments to support smooth and efficient distribution center operations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead daily operations for an assigned area within the distribution center, such as receiving, shipping, replenishment, production, or related workflows
Supervise, coach, and develop frontline colleagues to achieve productivity, quality, and safety expectations
Set clear expectations and hold team members accountable for performance, attendance, and adherence to standard work
Monitor daily volume, workflow, labor allocation, and operational performance to meet service requirements
Use operational data and reporting to identify gaps, investigate root causes, and implement corrective actions
Partner with site leadership and cross-functional teams to resolve process issues and improve execution
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety requirements, and standard operating procedures
Support a culture of engagement, teamwork, inclusion, and continuous improvement
Conduct regular observations, provide timely feedback, and document performance conversations as needed
Assist with staffing, onboarding, training, scheduling, and shift communication
Respond quickly to operational disruptions and adjust priorities to maintain workflow and service levels
Required Qualifications
2+ years of experience working in a distribution, warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or high-volume operations environment.
3+ years of leadership experience in distribution center or warehouse operations.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience leading teams in a fast-paced operational environment
Ability to interpret performance metrics and use data to drive decisions and accountability
Strong communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills
Working knowledge of safety practices and operational process discipline
Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends or overtime, based on business needs
Proficiency with basic computer systems and operational reporting tools such as Warehouse Management System and MS Office
Experience with warehouse management systems and labor planning
Experience leading in receiving, inventory control, or high-volume throughput environments
Bilingual communication skills.
Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in operations, supply chain, business, or related field

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$43,888.00 - $85,068.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
