Job Description:

The Registered Nurse CVOR provides professional nursing care in the CVOR unit, with responsibilities including circulating in surgical procedures and ensuring patient safety throughout the process.

Responsibilities:

  • Circulate in surgical procedures in the CVOR setting
  • Maintain patient safety and adhere to protocols
  • Collaborate with ORA, desk assistant, charge nurse, and team leaders
  • Attend to open heart, CABG, TAVR, AVR, MVR, sternotomy, thoracotomy/thoracoscopy, VATS, ECMO procedures

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in CVOR
  • Strong experience in trauma (no burns), neuro, general, vascular, ENT, ortho spine, ortho (including total joint experience), gyn, urology, robotics, plastics, breasts, eyes
  • ACLS and BLS certifications
  • No first-time travelers accepted with less than 2 years of experience
