Infection Preventionist

The Registered Nurse (RN) Infection Preventionist conducts infection surveillance, provides staff education and consultation, participates in infection control risk assessments, and supports infection prevention initiatives. The incumbent collaborates with interdisciplinary teams and ensures compliance with VHA and regulatory infection prevention standards to promote a safe environment for Veterans, staff, and visitors.
