Day Shift; 6am-6pm; 2/3/2 Schedule: $20.15 - $21.20/hr
Night Shift; 6pm-6am; 2/3/2 Schedule: $20.65 - $21.70/hr
**Incentive Pay when Daily Production Goals are met - paid on a Monthly Basis**
The Table Operator is responsible for running orders on any assigned Cutting Table. Table Operators must be flexible in changing tables and exhibit proper know-how in settings up, running and troubleshooting the equipment as outlined in Standard Work Instructions and execute good judgement in escalating issues to the Table Lead or Shift Manager when an issue is deemed outside of their control/ability. Table Operators must meet productivity and quality goals as outlined by Mannington Management, Policies and Standard Work Instructions.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Setup, operate and troubleshoot assigned cutting tables per standard work instruction without the need for outside assistance.
  • Inspect all orders to ensure they are damage free and meet quality standards, separate defective product.
  • Place cut material in packing box, ensure labels are correct before being placed onto the packing box, ensure proper boxes are used and free of damage.
  • Maintain a high level or productivity, efficiency and quality while adhering to appropriate safety standards.
  • Meet production goals, cut the minimum yards required at standard cutting rate in a normal work schedule.
  • Cross-training on Die Press is required to provide coverage as needed.
  • Ensure that the table and work area are kept clean and is a safe working condition.
  • Follow all safety procedures, recognize unsafe acts and make recommendations for improvement.

Job Skills and Requirements:
  • Ability to work in team environment.
  • Must be a self-starter and motivated.
  • Pay strong attention to detail.
  • Be able to work flexible hours and any required/mandatory overtime.
  • Must have good computer skills and able to learn SAP to process the completion of orders in Mannington's system.
  • Basic mechanical ability required for setup and troubleshooting of the equipment, experience troubleshooting equipment is preferred.
  • Mathematical skills to include the ability to understand percentages, multiplication, subtraction, division, decimals, and fractions.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand, push, pull & reach for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift & carry up to 50 lbs. Lifting slabs every 30 seconds to two minutes, with slab weighing 6 lbs. Lifting 30 lbs. box with both hands every five to six minutes.
  • Ability to maneuver around an array of machinery. Use of hands to finger, handle or feel. Color & peripheral vision; depth perception & ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to perform duties which requires tolerance of standing, repetitive hand movements, continual bending and squatting, near/far/depth/color vision, and inside ambient temperatures.
  • Work environment conditions include exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles and chemicals, extreme heat & loud noise level in some areas of the facility. Ability to quickly respond to a signal when it appears.
  • Must be able to wear steel toe shoes, glasses & other assigned PPE for the duration of the shift.
