CNC Laser Cutting Machine Operator

Full-time

Pay $20.13

Cleveland, OH

We’re looking for an experienced CNC Laser Machine Operator to set up, run, and troubleshoot laser cutting machine used in sheet metal fabrication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, adjust, and troubleshoot CNC laser cutting machines (Trumpf, Mitsubishi, or similar).
  • Perform changeovers and ensure correct lenses, programs, and parameters.
  • Conduct visual and measured quality inspections.
  • Record and report machine or quality issues.
  • Identify metal types and understand shielded gasses used in laser cutting.
  • Package finished parts and prepare shipments.
  • Operate forklift, tow motor, hoist/crane, pallet jack, and related equipment.
  • Assist other departments and support special projects as needed.

Requirements

  • 2+ years experience with CNC laser setup, operation, and programming.
  • Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools (tape measure, micrometers, etc.).
  • Experience with metal forming/finishing equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork.
  • Comfortable in a fast‐paced manufacturing environment.
