As part of the Global Trade Compliance team, you will play a critical role in managing US import operations and regulatory programs. You will work cross-functionally to strengthen compliance readiness, ensuring our global supply chain operates efficiently and adheres to all customs regulations.

In this role, you will manage the daily import clearance of shipments and oversee key compliance programs, including Broker Management and product classification. You will collaborate with internal business units, global suppliers, and customs brokers to translate evolving regulatory requirements into scalable policies and operational workflows.","responsibilities":"Manage daily import clearance operations, providing compliance guidance to customs brokers and internal business groups.
Classify products and record classifications in the global system, partnering with the Global Trade Compliance team to confirm HTS codes.
Review and respond to post-entry compliance requests, resolving customs entry discrepancies and addressing issues with US Customs and Border Protection (CBP).
Design and implement control frameworks to strengthen third-party oversight, monitor compliance risk indicators, and drive issue remediation.
Lead US Customs Import training sessions on policies and procedures for internal teams and external suppliers.
Support the development and execution of regional customs compliance processes, including metrics, reporting design, and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).
Contribute to strategic departmental projects, including Importer Self-Assessment, audits, duty drawback, and workflow automation initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with legal, supply chain, and external stakeholders.
Ability to communicate regulatory requirements to diverse audiences through training and documentation.
Ability to analyze data, identify risk indicators, and propose solutions.
Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to evolving regulatory environments.
Minimum Qualifications
5 or more years of experience in US import operations, trade compliance, or customs brokerage.
Experience managing daily import clearance, broker management, and product classification.
Knowledge of US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations, including AEO and CTPAT programs.
Experience with post-entry compliance, duty drawback, and Importer Self-Assessment.
Experience designing and implementing compliance control frameworks and operational workflows.
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $137,900 and $207,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
