Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on ISupervisor to oversee daily Customs Brokerage operations while supporting entry processing, regulatory compliance, and team coordination.

This role is ideal for a Licensed U.S. Customs Broker who has a strong background in customs brokerage operations and enjoys balancing leadership responsibilities with hands-on entry work. The Import Manager will serve as a technical resource for the brokerage team, ensuring customs entries are processed accurately, efficiently, and in full compliance with U.S. Customs regulations.

Key Responsibilities Customs Brokerage Operations
  • Manage day-to-day customs brokerage operations to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant processing of import entries.
  • Participate in preparing and filing customs entries as business needs require.
  • Review entry documentation for completeness, accuracy, and regulatory compliance prior to submission.
  • Monitor customs entry activity and ensure shipments are processed efficiently.
Regulatory Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. Customs regulations, import requirements, and applicable Partner Government Agency (PGA) regulations.
  • Monitor and resolve U.S. Customs rejections, Requests for Information (RFIs), and other compliance issues.

  • Assist with training, mentoring, and developing team members.
  • Coordinate workflow and assign work to maintain balanced productivity across the team.
  • Support management in maintaining best practices and operational consistency.
Process Improvement
  • Assist in developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflow, efficiency, and service quality.
  • Partner with leadership on operational improvement initiatives and process enhancements.
  • Promote continuous improvement across customs brokerage operations.
Customer Service & Communication
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service.
