Job description

Restaurant365 is a SaaS company disrupting the restaurant industry! Our cloud-based platform provides a unique, centralized solution for accounting and back-office operations for restaurants. Restaurant365’s culture is focused on empowering team members to produce top-notch results while elevating their skills. We’re constantly evolving and improving to make sure we are and always will be “Best in Class” ... and we want that for you too!

Restaurant365 is the leading all-in-one restaurant management platform, helping thousands of restaurant operators run and grow their businesses through a single, integrated cloud solution. Purpose-built for the restaurant industry, our platform combines accounting, inventory, purchasing, workforce management, payroll, scheduling, operations, and business intelligence—empowering restaurant operators to improve profitability and operate more efficiently.

Trusted by some of North America's largest restaurant brands as well as thousands of independent operators, Restaurant365 is redefining how restaurants operate through technology.

As a Customer Architect, you'll play a critical role in helping our largest and most strategic customers realize the full value of the Restaurant365 platform. Partnering closely with Strategic Customer Success Managers, you'll serve as the technical leader for complex enterprise accounts, designing scalable solutions that span product configuration, integrations, business processes, and operational workflows.

This is a highly strategic, cross-functional role for someone who enjoys solving difficult problems, influencing without authority, and building repeatable solutions that improve customer outcomes. You'll work closely with Customer Success, Product, Engineering, Professional Services, and Support to remove technical and operational barriers while helping shape the future of Enterprise Customer Success at Restaurant365.

How you'll add value:
  • Partner with Strategic Customer Success Managers to support Restaurant365's largest enterprise customers.

  • Serve as the technical advisor for complex customer environments, helping customers maximize business outcomes through thoughtful solution design.

  • Diagnose technical, operational, and workflow challenges across customer environments, integrations, and business processes.

  • Design scalable solutions involving product configuration, integrations, data flows, and operational workflows.

  • Lead technical strategy discussions with customer IT, Finance, Operations, and executive stakeholders.

  • Coordinate cross-functional initiatives across Product, Engineering, Professional Services, Support, and Customer Success to resolve complex customer challenges.

  • Develop reusable playbooks, best practices, and solution patterns that improve scalability across the enterprise customer base.

  • Partner with Product and Engineering to improve enterprise readiness, implementation approaches, and product adoption.

  • Identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation to improve customer outcomes and eliminate manual processes.

  • Translate customer feedback into actionable insights that influence product strategy and long-term platform improvements.

  • Reduce reactive firefighting by identifying and solving systemic issues that impact multiple customers.

What you'll need to be successful in this role:
  • 8+ years of experience in Enterprise SaaS, Technical Account Management, Solutions Architecture, Customer Engineering, Professional Services, Enterprise Consulting, or a similar customer-facing technical role.

  • Demonstrated experience partnering with enterprise customers on complex software deployments, integrations, or business transformation initiatives.

  • Strong understanding of SaaS architecture, APIs, integrations, enterprise software ecosystems, and data flows.

  • Proven ability to diagnose complex technical and operational challenges and develop scalable solutions.

  • Experience influencing Product, Engineering, Professional Services, and Customer Success teams without direct authority.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both executive and technical audiences.

  • Strong analytical thinking, systems thinking, and structured problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to prioritize effectively and thrive in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.

  • Passion for improving customer outcomes through process improvement, innovation, and cross-functional collaboration.

  • AI Fluency: Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to improve productivity, accelerate problem solving, automate repetitive work, and enhance customer outcomes. Continuously seeks opportunities to apply emerging AI capabilities to deliver greater efficiency and business impact.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience supporting enterprise customers in ERP, financial software, payroll, workforce management, restaurant technology, or other operational SaaS platforms.

  • Experience working with multi-location or franchise businesses.

  • Familiarity with enterprise integrations, APIs, middleware, and data architecture.

  • Experience building reusable frameworks, playbooks, or operating models that improve scalability.

  • Experience partnering closely with Product and Engineering to influence roadmap priorities and product readiness.

  • Consulting experience with firms such as Deloitte, Accenture, Slalom, PwC, or EY, or equivalent enterprise transformation experience.

  • Experience leveraging AI, automation, and modern workflow technologies to improve customer experiences and operational efficiency.
