Job description

About Wunderkind:Wunderkind is a performance marketing solution that uses AI and data to help brands acquire and retain customers through one-to-one, personalized messages across websites, email, text, and ads, guaranteeing a lift in revenue. Founded in 2010, Our goal is to scale a brand's ability to create and grow customer relationships through websites, email, text, and ads. We believe individuals should have the freedom to choose the kind of internet they want. An internet that fosters genuine relationships with brands. An internet that treats humans like real people instead of "web traffic." We also believe in empowering brands to treat their customers as individuals, satisfying their unique needs with tailored experiences and thoughtful communication. By expertly personalizing, automating, and scaling beautiful one-to-one experiences, Wunderkind helps brands acquire new customers at scale and keep them loyal for life.
About the Role:
Wunderkind is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Customer Success Associate (CSA) to join our dynamic post-sale team. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing while working with top eCommerce brands.
You'll sit on our post-sale team and see both sides of Customer Success at once. On our largest enterprise accounts, you'll work alongside an Associate Director on high-touch, strategic programs. On our scaled portfolio, you'll help service a high volume of smaller clients where speed, consistency, and precision decide the outcome. You'll gain the exposure to know which side of that coin you want to build your career on.
This is a hands-on, technical role. You'll be trained in depth on our proprietary platform, you'll work on real client data every day, and you'll be trusted with the details that keep campaigns accurate at scale.
Key Responsibilities
  • Data Analysis & Insights: Pull and analyze performance data to identify trends and opportunities. Develop custom reports based on client needs.
  • Campaign Execution: Set up and optimize marketing campaigns, including SMS, email, and onsite strategies in the back-end of the Wunderkind platform.
  • Project Management: Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Design, Engineering, Professional Services) to ensure timely and accurate execution.
  • Presentation & Strategy Support: Assist in creating data-driven presentations and reports to optimize client strategies.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders to support initiatives, troubleshoot campaign issues, and drive outcomes.
  • Product Feedback & Testing: Participate in testing new features and supporting special projects or pilot programs.
Responsibilities and Level of Effort (LOE)
Project Management & Campaign Execution (40%)
  • Run the day-to-day project management of client campaigns from concept to launch - timelines, dependencies, and the follow-ups that keep them on schedule.
  • Set up and optimize email, SMS, and onsite campaigns in the Wunderkind platform.
  • Coordinate with Design, Engineering, Professional Services, and Analytics to move work forward, and set clear expectations with each of them on what's possible by when.
  • Spot roadblocks early and raise them early. We would rather hear about a slipping timeline on Monday than a missed deadline on Friday.
  • QA your own work and other people's. At scale, a small miss becomes a real problem fast.

Data, Insights & Client Storytelling (25%)
  • Pull performance data from our internal reporting tools (Wunderkind Analytics, Looker, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) and turn it into a point of view - not just a chart.
  • Build reports and presentations that answer the client's actual question and explain why the numbers moved.
  • Validate what you report. Numbers that go to a client are yours to stand behind.
  • Contribute data-backed recommendations that shape what we do next on the account.

Scaled Portfolio Support (25%)
  • Support a high volume of smaller accounts through our scaled service model, where great time management and prioritization are the key components of the job.
  • Handle client requests end to end: triage, execute, follow up, close the loop.
  • Monitor platform performance and client KPIs across the book, and flag risks and opportunities before anyone has to ask.
  • Keep documentation, trackers, and client records accurate. Other people make decisions based off of your work.

Operational Improvement & Special Projects (10%)
  • Test new features, participate in pilots, and give the Product team honest feedback from the front line.
  • Tell us what's broken. If a process wastes an hour a week across the team, we want you to say so and help fix it - regardless of how long you've been here.
What We're Looking For
  • Detail-obsessed. You catch the thing everyone else scrolled past, and you build habits that make accuracy repeatable.
  • Strong self-manager. You juggle strategic and scaled work in the same week without dropping either, and you know what to do first.
  • Data-fluent, not just data-capable. You can pull the report, and you can explain what it means, where it's misleading, and what to do about it.
  • A smart, honest user of AI. We give our team modern AI tooling and expect you to use it to move faster on reporting, drafting, summarizing, and analysis. We also expect you to read every output, sanity-check it against the source, and own the result. AI raises your floor here; it never signs your name.
  • High-energy and vocal. You ask good questions, push back when something looks wrong, and speak up about inefficiencies instead of quietly working around them.
  • A strong communicator. You write clearly, set expectations directly with internal teams and clients, and never let someone find out late.
  • Curious about the trade-offs. You want to understand why a project is prioritized, what it costs, and how the decision got made.
Required Qualifications:
  • 0-1 year of experience or a previous internship in Marketing, Client Services, or a related field.
  • Experience with eCommerce, email/SMS marketing, or website analytics (Google Analytics, Looker) is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with marketing or analytics platforms is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
Why This Role
You'll get exposure that usually takes years to assemble: enterprise strategy, scaled operations, marketing technology, performance data, and senior mentorship, all in the same year. It's the strongest foundation we know of for a career in customer success, technical account management, or digital marketing - and it's a well-traveled path onto our CSM team.
On the fence? Apply anyway! We know that imposter syndrome can get in the way of meeting incredible candidates, and don't want it to get in the way of meeting you!
The base salary range for this role is $55,000-$65,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each specific candidate; including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, applicable certifications, and geographic work location. This may vary depending on living location and market rate.
Wunderkind is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace. We are committed to equal employment opportunity regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender identity or Veteran status.
