How you will create an impact:
  • Assume responsibility for multiple concurrent client engagements or workstreams, directly interacting with healthcare and life sciences clients and helping deliver top-line growth strategies. 
  • Manage project planning and execution by ensuring project delivery is aligned with client needs, objectives, timelines, risks, and expectations. Independently tackle complex business, technology, and analytics issues, crafting and presenting solutions and recommendations together with your project teams. 
  • Manage the project team to develop commercial, analytics, and IT strategies; design system architecture; and optimize clients' technology landscapes end-to-end. Lead healthcare and life sciences clients to solve strategic commercial and technology challenges across the product lifecycle. 
  • Deliver high-quality individual contributions on client engagements by driving research, analysis, and insights that support timely, client-ready outputs and deliverables. 
  • Elevate analysis and insights by bringing client-centric depth, healthcare and life sciences expertise, and commercial growth knowledge to project deliverables. 
  • Facilitate communication between business representatives, technical experts, and technology providers, including vendor selection, RFP, and RFI processes. 
  • Develop expertise in growth technology focus areas such as pricing, sales, marketing, CRM, CPQ, PO&M, ERP sales modules, CLM, and related healthcare commercial technology solutions. 
  • Analyze healthcare-focused data sets used by commercial teams, including payer quality access, provider-level prescribing, prescription claims, and other relevant healthcare data sources. 
  • Build trusted advisory relationships with clients by delivering tailored recommendations, obtaining buy-in from key stakeholders, and providing exceptional client service. 
  • Prepare client-ready deliverables and independently present project workstream findings and recommendations to senior clients, incorporating feedback. 
  • Provide effective communication in challenging situations and help align stakeholders across business, analytics, technology, and vendor teams. Identify and engage prospective clients, understand their needs, priorities, and challenges, and help expand Simon-Kucher's commercial growth strategy, analytics, and technology offerings. 
  • Proactively participate in the development of Simon-Kucher's analytics and growth technology offerings by identifying new business opportunities and developing new capabilities, thought leadership, tools, articles, blog posts, and other market-facing content. 
  • Act as a mentor to team members, giving constructive feedback and supporting their professional development. 
  • Play an integral role in the recruitment and integration of new consultants in our analytics and growth technology offerings, contributing to Simon-Kucher's culture and success.  
Your profile: 
  • Undergraduate and/or graduate degree from an accredited university or college in business, statistics, economics, marketing, finance, math, information technology, engineering, science, psychology, or a related field, along with 4+ years of full-time work experience, ideally in management consulting or industry, with experience in analytics, growth technology, pricing, marketing, sales, strategy, or commercial transformation 
  • Healthcare industry or healthcare consulting experience is preferred, especially with technical industry experience in commercial technology, enterprise software, or technology enabled commercial transformations across pricing, sales, marketing, strategy, or analytics. 
  • Experience with pricing, marketing, or sales software, including CRM, CPQ, PO&M, ERP sales modules, CLM, or related commercial technology solutions. 
  • Strong understanding of vendor selection and RFP/RFI processes, including the ability to facilitate communication between business, technical, and vendor stakeholders. 
  • Experience developing technical and business specifications and familiarity with IT landscapes and architecture across organizations of different sizes and complexities. 
  • Ability to advise clients on how to optimize their commercial technology landscape and reach next-level excellence through scalable, practical solutions. 
  • Expertise in advanced analytics using healthcare-focused data sets used by commercial teams, including payer quality access, provider-level prescribing, prescription claims, and related data sets. 
  • Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools such as Python, R, or Stata, with Python preferred, as well as Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook 
  • Strong ability to manage multiple projects, work plans, deliverables, risks, issues, milestones, and escalation needs across diverse disciplines and teams. 
  • Proven success managing or mentoring small teams with a leadership style that supports positive results, inclusion, empathy, and high performance. 
  • Effective presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present findings, takeaways, and recommendations to senior audiences. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to develop and maintain deep relationships with senior clients; access to an existing healthcare network is a plus. 
  • Up to date with technology and software industry trends and eager to quickly and independently build knowledge of new and niche software products. 
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, client-focused mindset, and a conscientious, dynamic attitude.

Total compensation for this role includes base salary, performance bonus, eligibility for annual merit-based increases, and a comprehensive benefits package. 

The base salary range for this position is between 170,000to 180,000per year for US roles. Specific compensation within these ranges will depend on factors such as experience, skills, and location. Salary ranges are reviewed periodically to ensure alignment with market conditions.
