Job description

HVAC Service Supervisor

Location: Phoenix, AZ Salary: $110,000–$130,000 per year (DOE) Job Type: Full-Time

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Supervisor to lead our residential and light commercial service team in the Phoenix market. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing daily service operations, coaching technicians, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction, and driving department performance. The ideal candidate is a proven HVAC leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about developing high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of HVAC service technicians.
  • Schedule and coordinate daily service operations to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor technician performance, productivity, and quality of work.
  • Provide technical support and assist with diagnosing complex HVAC issues.
  • Conduct ride-alongs, coaching sessions, and ongoing training.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, safety policies, and local codes.
  • Review completed work orders for accuracy and quality.
  • Manage customer concerns and resolve escalated service issues professionally.
  • Collaborate with dispatch, sales, and installation teams to improve workflow and customer experience.
  • Track department KPIs, including revenue, maintenance agreement growth, callback rates, and customer satisfaction.
  • Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and developing new technicians.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of residential or light commercial HVAC service experience.
  • 2+ years of supervisory or management experience preferred.
  • EPA Certification required.
  • Valid Arizona driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across a variety of HVAC systems.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Experience with service management software and mobile field technology.
  • Ability to motivate teams while maintaining high performance and accountability.
