Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Clinic Customer Service Representative to join our healthcare team in Far Rockaway, NY. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in and scheduling process. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced medical office.
Key Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and visitors in a professional, courteous, and compassionate manner.
  • Answer incoming phone calls and respond to patient inquiries promptly.
  • Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments.
  • Register new patients and update existing patient demographic and insurance information.
  • Verify insurance eligibility and collect co-pays, deductibles, and outstanding balances.
  • Maintain accurate patient records using the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
  • Assist patients with completing required forms and documentation.
  • Coordinate referrals, authorizations, and appointment reminders.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, medical assistants, nurses, and administrative staff.
