Job description

We are a local general contractor, "Mr. Handyman", seeking a friendly and outgoing Customer Service Representative with 3-5 years of experience for our office located in the Kruse Way area of Lake Oswego.
The CSR will build positive, professional relationships with our customers and technicians. The CSR answers phones/texts/emails, accurately captures and understands the customer needs, schedules technician and estimate appointments, and provides over the phone estimates.
The CSR provides prompt, friendly and professional responses to all customer inquiries, fields initial stage complaints, is organized, detail oriented, and works independently. The CSR will develop positive working relationships with our service technicians, vendors, and other contacts. Industry experience is preferred but not required.
Job duties include:

  • Answer phones and schedule appointments
  • Understand customer needs and accurately captures the scope of job
  • Respond to customer inquiries, check email and voice mail, and promptly return calls
  • Coordinate, communicate and review jobs with service technicians
  • Make appointment confirmation and follow up calls
  • Monitor receivables and payables
  • Monitor social media and lead source systems
  • Assist owner and team as needed
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to multi-task and proactive in problem solving
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to type 55 wpm and general office skills
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Valid drivers license and acceptable record
  • Excel in a team environment
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office user
