Service Project Manager - Fire Sprinkler

Location: Freehold, NJ

Compensation: $75,000-$85,000 Base Salary + Performance Bonus ($5,000-$25,000+)

Job Type: Direct Hire / Permanent


Are you an experienced fire sprinkler professional looking to transition into a more office-based role while staying connected to the industry? We're partnering with a growing fire protection contractor seeking a Service Project Manager to oversee fire sprinkler service projects from estimate through completion.


This is an excellent opportunity for a service technician, inspector, estimator, or service coordinator who understands the technical side of fire protection and is ready to take on greater project ownership.


What You'll Do

  • Prepare estimates and quotes for fire sprinkler repairs, inspections, fire pump work, and other service projects.
  • Manage multiple service projects from initial quote through completion.
  • Coordinate permits, schedules, technicians, subcontractors, and customer communication.
  • Work closely with field personnel to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Build strong customer relationships while maintaining profitability and service quality.
  • Visit project sites as needed, while primarily working from the office.

  • Experience in the fire protection industry, preferably with fire sprinkler service.
  • Background as a service technician, inspector, estimator, service coordinator, or project manager.
  • Strong understanding of sprinkler systems, fire pumps, inspections, and service operations.
