Position Details:
  • Title: Manifester/Order Processor
  • Schedule: 1st shift, 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday - Thursday; 7:00am - 3:30pm Friday
  • Location:Myerstown, PA (17067)
  • Salary Range: $18.00 hourly, based on experience and qualifications

Job Summary: The Manifester/Order Processor is responsible for preparing customer orders for shipment by accurately selecting, packing, and manifesting products according to company standards. This position ensures timely and error-free order fulfillment, maintains inventory integrity, and supports warehouse operations to meet customer and business requirements.
Essential Functions:
  • Manifest each order to ship UPS or FedEx (Freight, Collect, 3rd Part, COD, multiple).
  • Invoice each pick ticket according to instructions on the order including the billing of freight charges and indicating backorders.
  • Knowledgeable of the packaging operation in the warehouse as it relates to box sizes and order packaging.
  • Knowledgeable of the manifesting procedures and the processes necessary to call an order up, weigh the package(s), print the labels, apply the labels, and close the order.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in working with computer systems.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to work effectively in a diverse environment and across the Company.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and be well organized.

Education/Certifications:
  • High School Diploma or completion of GED equivalent

  • Physical Demands: Employee is required to walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop; bend; kneel and climb. The employee must regularly lift and move up to 15 pounds, frequently lift/move up to 25 - 40 pounds.
  • Work Environment: This job primarily operates in a manufacturing environment. However, this position requires one to work both in an office environment and a manufacturing facility. There is a moderate level of noise, heat, dust, dirt, and fumes. Employee frequently works near moving mechanical equipment and chemicals and will be exposed to varying temperatures.
