Do you have the operational leadership, financial acumen, and strategic mindset to drive service excellence and profitable growth? Join the ASSA ABLOY Alcea team in Barcelona, Spain, and enjoy a collaborative culture that empowers you to build a career you'll be proud of.

What you would do as our Service Operations Manager
Reporting to senior leadership, you will be responsible for leading and optimizing all operational activities related to the installation, maintenance, and service delivery of integrated security systems. Combining hands-on operational leadership with long-term strategic planning, you will ensure operational capabilities, resource capacity, cost structures, and service performance are fully aligned with business growth objectives and financial targets.

As a key member of the leadership team, you will translate business strategy into operational execution while maintaining strong control over costs, margins, quality, and customer satisfaction.

You would also be responsible for:
Defining and executing the service operations strategy, translating business objectives into operational plans, budgets, resource requirements, and capacity models that support sustainable growth.
Managing installation, maintenance, and service delivery activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Driving operational and financial performance through effective cost control, workforce planning, subcontractor management, margin optimization, and productivity improvements.
Managing, developing, and coaching service managers, supervisors, and technical teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and customer focus.
Establishing and monitoring key operational KPIs, driving process standardization, digitalization, risk management, and compliance with quality, regulatory, and Health & Safety requirements.

The skills and experience you need
We are looking for someone who:
Brings proven experience in operations management within security systems, engineering, installations, or similar technical service environments - this is a mandatory requirement.
Demonstrates strong financial and commercial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, cost management, profitability analysis, and performance improvement.
Has experience managing field operations, technical teams, and subcontractors across multiple locations while maintaining high standards of quality, service, and safety.
Combines strategic thinking with a hands-on approach and possesses strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, and decision-making capabilities.
Holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or a related field and is fluent in English and Spanish; experience with ERP and service management systems is an advantage.
