Atrium is seeking on behalf of our client a Customer Service Manager based in Cherry Hill, NJ.

Employment Type: Full-time

Compensation: 80-120k

Position Overview

The Customer Service Manager will lead and mentor a team to deliver exceptional service, improve operational performance, and enhance customer satisfaction. This role focuses on driving process improvements, supporting business growth, and ensuring alignment with company values and goals. The position requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and collaboration across multiple departments.

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership, coaching, and structured training to team members to ensure high performance.
  • Champion company values, goals, and culture with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage team resources, onboarding, and performance to ensure effective coverage and cultural alignment.
  • Maintain accurate training records and ensure adherence to policies, customer expectations, and industry best practices.
  • Identify and implement technology solutions that improve productivity and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Communicate proactively with stakeholders regarding changes and issues to maintain transparency and trust.
  • Lead execution and onboarding for new customer opportunities in partnership with Business Development.
  • Use data to develop strategies that increase revenue and profitability, including identifying low-ROI lanes.

Required Experience/Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • 5+ years in customer service, sales, or other customer-facing roles within the transportation or supply chain industry.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of transportation, or supply chain operations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and familiarity with Power BI and SharePoint.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present data to support strategic initiatives.

Preferred Experience/Skills

  • Experience leading cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to implement process improvements and operational efficiencies.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and customer engagement strategies.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or relevant certifications in supply chain or operations management preferred.
  • Ongoing professional development in leadership, customer service, or operational excellence is a plus.
