Job Description Start date: 9/28/26 Education required: High school studies Education preferred: Undergraduate studies desirable Required Qualifications: 3+ years of overall work experience. Experience providing customer service and responding to customer, broker, agent, or government agency inquiries. Ability to interpret and apply contract and product provisions. Experience handling financial or monetary transactions accurately. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to research records and reports, identify issues, and make appropriate decisions. Basic mathematics and problem-solving skills. Ability to use PC-based systems and standard office equipment. Preferred Qualifications: 2+ years of product-related customer service experience. Experience in the insurance or financial services industry, particularly annuities or mutual funds. Undergraduate studies combined with relevant work experience. Knowledge of insurance/financial services products, processing systems, and applicable federal and state regulations. LOMA, CLU, or ChFC coursework or credentials. NASD Series 6 and/or Series 26 certification, where applicable to the assigned product, line of business, or distribution system. Responsibilities: Provide prompt and efficient service to internal and external customers for assigned products and/or service centers. Respond to customer, broker, agent, and government agency inquiries through oral and written communication. Consult with and interpret contract provisions for current and past products and assumed business. Assist customers with financial transactions and process monetary transactions within assigned limits. Maintain current knowledge of product and contract provisions, processing systems, and applicable regulations. Review, research, and interpret records and reports to support accurate decisions. Identify and resolve routine errors requiring corrective processing. Recognize situations requiring advanced technical knowledge or exception processing and escalate them to appropriate lead team members. Communicate effectively with customers, agency/brokerage representatives, service centers, sales support teams, and other industry organizations. Perform other duties as assigned.
