Job description

Project Overview: Remote Enrollment Services Contractor

We are seeking an independent, detail-oriented Enrollment Services Contractor to manage and optimize our member enrollment process. The selected contractor will independently oversee application processing, eligibility verification, and record maintenance, serving as a primary point of contact for enrollment inquiries.


Scope of Services (Deliverables)

  • Application Processing: Independently review and process membership applications promptly and accurately.
  • Eligibility Verification: Verify eligibility and completeness of enrollment forms, and conduct necessary follow-up communications to obtain missing data.
  • Inquiry Management: Provide high-level customer service and onboarding guidance to prospective members via phone, chat, and email.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate membership records within the database while ensuring total confidentiality and security of data.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Generate and analyze enrollment data reports to identify trends and process improvements.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Align with company stakeholders and external partners as needed to ensure process accuracy and compliance with relevant regulatory standards.

Contractor Qualifications & Requirements

  • Language Skills: Written and verbal fluency in Spanish is required to service specific member demographics.
  • Remote Business Infrastructure: Proven track record of 1–2 years running a successful remote business or working independently from a home office.
  • Core Expertise: Minimum 2 years of experience providing customer service, administrative, or enrollment services (healthcare or membership-based industry experience preferred).
  • Technical Setup: Proficiency utilizing Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Meet), Microsoft Office, and Slack.
  • Preferred Tools: Prior experience with JIRA, Intercom, and CloudTalk is a plus.
  • Operational Independence: Strong organizational abilities, sharp problem-solving skills, and the capacity to deliver high-quality results without daily supervision.

Location Requirement:

  • This is a remote position open to contractors residing in the Eastern Time Zone, who are legally authorized to operate a business within their respective state.

Compensation

  • Contract Rate: $25.00 – $28.00 per hour (1099 Classification).
