Job Overview

  • Company: Professor Gatsby's Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electrical.
  • Salary/Pay Rate: $17 - $22 per hour plus commissions (earning potential up to $60,000 per year).
  • Location: West Berlin, NJ (In-office).

  • Schedule: Tuesday – Saturday, 10:00 am - 6:00 pm.

How You Will Make an Impact

  • Ensure seamless communication between our residential customers and field technicians to maintain smooth daily operations.
  • Manage high-volume incoming calls to provide prompt updates, schedule appointments, and conduct thorough follow-up communications.
  • Prioritize urgent customer issues and efficiently fill the daily schedule board to maximize technician routing and efficiency.
  • Utilize your excellent phone skills to actively upsell maintenance plans and current promotions to callers.
  • Act as the welcoming voice of the company, ensuring every customer experiences our core values of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.


Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience working in a sales or customer service role.
  • High level of proficiency with professional phone and email communication.
  • Highly organized with exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Strong drive to succeed and the ability to take initiative when assisting customers and resolving issues.


Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • Demonstrated ability and track record of successfully upselling products or services.
  • Previous experience coordinating schedules or managing a busy dispatch board in a service-oriented industry.
