Job description

Foster Plumbing, a Crete United Company, is seeking a driven and relationship-focused Service Account Manager to support the continued growth of our commercial service division throughout the Denver metro area.
The Service Account Manager will be responsible for managing and expanding an established portfolio of commercial customers, serving as the primary point of contact for service needs, identifying opportunities for repairs and small projects, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
This role is best suited for someone with a strong commercial plumbing service background who enjoys building trust, maintaining long-term relationships, and creating opportunities within existing accounts. Success in this position comes from responsiveness, communication, follow-through, and the ability to connect customer needs with Foster Plumbing's service capabilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with commercial property managers, facility managers, building engineers, and existing Foster Plumbing customers.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts and provide a high level of customer service and responsiveness.
  • Manage and grow an established book of business by identifying opportunities for service repairs, replacements, maintenance, and small project work.
  • Conduct routine customer visits to strengthen relationships, understand upcoming needs, and uncover new opportunities.
  • Generate and qualify leads within existing accounts while collaborating with leadership on strategic growth initiatives.
  • Coordinate with the Service Manager, technicians, and estimating team to ensure customer needs are addressed efficiently and accurately.
  • Follow up on open opportunities and proposals to maintain momentum and improve close rates.
  • Maintain regular communication with customers regarding project status, scheduling, and service updates.
  • Track customer interactions, opportunities, and account activity within company systems.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and proactively address concerns to strengthen long-term partnerships.
  • Represent Foster Plumbing professionally in the marketplace and promote the full range of the company's service capabilities.
  • Provide leadership with updates on customer activity, pipeline opportunities, and market feedback.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial plumbing service, account management, business development, or a related role.
  • Previous experience managing customer relationships within a plumbing service environment required.
  • Strong understanding of commercial plumbing systems and service operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and grow customer relationships.
  • Existing relationships within the Denver commercial facilities market strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams.
  • Strong organizational and follow-through skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM or service management software preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
