SUMMARY:

As an Account Manager focusing on sales and business development for the service division, you 
will be the primary point of contact for our customers, ensuring exceptional service and 
satisfaction. You will manage accounts, drive sales, and cultivate long-term relationships by 
understanding customer needs, providing accurate, timely information, and ensuring all 
interactions align with company standards and safety protocols.


Skills and Requirements:

  • High school diploma required, additional training or a degree in Business, Sales, or related field preferred.  
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an account manager role, preferably in the construction or service industry.  
  • Communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.  
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and adapt to changing priorities.  
  • Strong technical understanding relevant to our service and industry standards.  
  • Estimating Experience required. 
  • Ability to work in Monterey Park, CA, and generate new business in the area within 60 days of hire.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS


Customer Relationship Management:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure ongoing satisfaction and 
    repeat business. 
  • Actively seek and incorporate client feedback to enhance the service experience.
  • Organize and facilitate meetings with clients to review annual maintenance budgets and 
    discuss both current and anticipated electrical needs. 


Sales and Business Development

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the client base.
  • Develop comprehensive estimates for each silent opportunity by incorporating all necessary 
    resources, including vendors, subcontractors, rentals, and more. Identify potential scope gaps, 
    address them directly or inform the client as needed. 
  • Prepare and present timely and detailed proposals to current and prospective clients. 
  • Manage the sales cycle from initial contact through to final sale, including handling follow-ups 
    and assisting with finalizing agreements.


Work Order Coordination: 

  • Monitor project initiation closely and facilitate transitions from sales to project execution.
  • Review detailed scopes of work, project timelines, and resource plans. 
  • Coordinate with the internal operations team to ensure the timely delivery of service and 
    materials. 


Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales, and project statuses.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports and performance metrics to the NCM
  • Assist with change order pricing and ensure all necessary documentation is complete.


Client Support:

  • Act as a liaison between clients and the project team when needed, addressing any concerns 
    or issues promptly. 
  • Assist operations with any on-site problems or questions related to the work agreed upon.
  • Ensure timely completion of all deliverables and maintain high standards of execution by 
    maintaining consistent communication with the operations team and client.
  • Other job duties as assigned based on the changing needs of the business.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS  

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working at a computer.  
  • Conduct site visits to provide estimates, navigating a variety of conditions and environments.  
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at a time.
