Job description

Job Summary

The Commercial Sales Manager is responsible for driving new business-to-business (B2B) sales growth for Acciona Facility Services’ Facility Services Division. This role focuses on prospecting, developing, and closing new commercial accounts while building long-term client relationships. The position plays a critical role in achieving sales targets, increasing profitability, and expanding Acciona’s market presence within the Facility Management Services sector.


Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales Execution

  • Identify, prospect, and develop new B2B business opportunities within assigned territory or region.
  • Generate and qualify leads to drive a strong sales pipeline and meet or exceed annual sales targets.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with prospective clients through meetings, presentations, and site visits.
  • Present service proposals and negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with potential clients.
  • Ensure all client agreements are fully executed prior to contract start‐up and properly transitioned to Operations leadership.

Sales Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and execute a sales business plan covering revenue targets, sales forecasts, and expense controls.
  • Design and support sales strategies for team development and management of strategic accounts.
  • Analyze sales performance data and prepare forecasts and progress reports.
  • Conduct weekly reviews of branch sales activity and recommend corrective actions when needed.

Account Management & Client Engagement

  • Develop new business relationships and negotiate contracts for Facility Management Services in line with annual targets.
  • Understand customer needs and align Acciona’s services to client requirements.
  • Schedule and conduct client site tours and site surveys in coordination with operations teams.
  • Review and/or develop Statements of Work (SOW) with the corporate team for prospective clients.

Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis

  • Gather and analyze business intelligence on prospects to support sales conversations and solution presentations.
  • Track market trends and emerging opportunities in Facility Management Services.
  • Monitor competitor activity and positioning within the market.

Proposals & Documentation

  • Prepare and support documentation for contracts, RFPs, RFQs, and proposal responses.
  • Ensure compliance with internal processes and timely submission of all sales documentation.

Representation & Collaboration

  • Represent Acciona Facility Services professionally with comprehensive knowledge of company offerings.
  • Collaborate closely with Operations, Corporate, and Leadership teams to ensure successful client onboarding and service delivery.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field required.

Experience

  • Minimum five (5) years of sales management experience in a corporate or B2B environment.
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience within facility services, facilities management, or a similar operational field strongly preferred.
  • Proven success managing the full sales lifecycle, from prospecting through closing.
