About the Role
USS Wind LLC, a division of the CSS Industrial Group of Companies, provides advanced wind turbine services both in the U.S. and internationally in collaboration with industry leaders.
We are currently hiring entry-level Wind Turbine Blade Repair Technicians, Level 1 and 2, to support wind energy projects across the country. The technicians will be responsible for conducting internal and external inspections, performing defect analysis, and undertaking Category 1-3 repairs of fibreglass and composite blades, as well as the hub/nose cone and nacelles across all categories.
This is a travel-intensive position that requires flexibility, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively in a team.
Required Certifications:
  • Full GWO Certification (BST, ART, BTT)

Additional Certifications (preferred or required, depending on project):
  • Arc Flash / NFPA 70E
  • Confined Space & Rescue
  • WHMIS
  • Respirator Fit Testing
  • Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)

Experience & Skills:
  • Experience in blade repair, composites, or similar mechanical work
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Comfortable working at heights and in varying weather conditions
  • Team player with good communication

Additional Requirements
  • Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent, higher degree in Renewable Energy education is an Asset
  • Valid driver's licence with a satisfactory record
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Ability to travel extensively across U.S.
  • Physically capable of performing job duties
