Customer Service Representative

Department: Sales
Reports To: Director of Sales

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our team in a custom OEM electrical manufacturing environment and directly support our Sales team. This position plays a critical role in supporting the sales process by managing order entry, tracking project progress, coordinating internal communications, and providing excellent customer support throughout the lifecycle of each job.

The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced manufacturing setting, and a proactive approach to customer communication and internal coordination.

This position reports directly to the Director of Sales.

Key Responsibilities

       Provide administrative and operational support to the sales team

       Enter and process customer sales orders accurately within company systems

       Track active orders and maintain up-to-date job status information

       Communicate order progress, scheduling updates, and delivery timelines to customers

       Maintain and update internal job tracking logs and project documentation

       Coordinate with procurement, production, and accounting departments to ensure smooth job execution and customer satisfaction

       Assist in resolving customer inquiries, order discrepancies, and scheduling concerns

       Ensure accuracy of customer records, pricing information, and order details

       Maintain organized project files and support management reporting requirements

       Support continuous communication between internal teams to facilitate efficient workflow and order completion
