Job Summary
  • Seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer with deep expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS) to support the migration of corporate hardware-based systems into the WANDS/AWS environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience designing, deploying, securing, and automating cloud infrastructure while ensuring high availability, scalability, and operational resilience.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Set up, configure, and manage AWS EC2 environments, including compute provisioning, networking, and security controls
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible to automate deployment, configuration management, and repeatable infrastructure builds
  • Apply expertise in the AWS Well-Architected Framework, including Operational Excellence, Security, Reliability, Performance Efficiency, Cost Optimization, and Sustainability, to ensure compliant and resilient cloud solutions
  • Leverage Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) best practices to automate operational tasks, design highly available and fault-tolerant systems, and implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting capabilities

Required Qualifications
  • Must have active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph
  • Fourteen (14) years of experience in software development/engineering, including requirements analysis, software development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, and problem diagnosis/resolution
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or in a related technical field is highly desired which will be considered equivalent to two (2) years of experience
  • A Master's degree in a Technical Field will be considered equivalent to four (4) years of experience
  • A degree in Mathematics, Information Systems, Engineering, or similar degree will be considered
  • One of the following certifications required:
    • AWS Certified Developer-Associate
    • AWS Certified Solutions Architect-Associate
    • AWS Certified Solutions Architect-Professional
    • AWS Certified SysOps Administrator-Associate
    • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKAD)
    • Elastic Certified Engineer
    • Elastic Certified Obervability Engineer
  • Possession of a Cloud certification is required and will be verified as part of the interview or offer process.

Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, DevOps, CI/CD, and automation

Exempt hourly position. 11 paid holidays, minimum of 3 weeks PTO, company sponsored group medical plan, company paid dental, vision, life insurance, and STD/LTD plans. Salary is dependent upon the candidate's experience and qualifications.
The pay range for this role is:
165,000 - 230,000 USD per year (NBP)
