Customer Protection Officers are professionals responsible for ensuring the safety and security of customers within an organization or public space. Their duties often include monitoring premises, responding to incidents, resolving customer disputes, and enforcing organizational policies to protect both people and property. They play a critical role in maintaining a safe environment, addressing potential threats, and promoting positive customer experiences. Customer Protection Officers may work in a variety of settings, such as retail stores, banks, transportation hubs, or events.

How does a customer protection officer typically collaborate with other departments to ensure customer safety and compliance?

Customer Protection Officers regularly work with teams such as security, legal, compliance, and customer service to identify and address potential risks to customers.
