Marketing & Digital Experience Intern - Citrus Innovation Center
Location: Lakeland, FL
Duration: 3 months (flexible)
Reports to: Marketing & Communications Sr. Manager, Citrus
About the Role
The Marketing & Digital Experience Intern will support the creation of compelling, on-brand content for the Citrus Innovation Center's Observatory and in-building digital experiences. This role is ideal for a creative, detail-oriented student interested in digital storytelling, experiential marketing, and B2B customer engagement.
You'll help bring IFF's citrus innovation story to life through interactive screens, digital interfaces, and customer-facing marketing presentations, ensuring content stays fresh, engaging, and aligned with customer visits and marketing priorities.
Key Responsibilities
Digital & Observatory Content
  • Create and refresh content displayed across the building's digital touchpoints, including:
  • 360 Immersive Room "The Observatory" screens
  • Entry kiosk
  • Interactive table and digital T.V. interfaces
  • Support ongoing updates so digital content reflects current projects, innovations, and customer narratives, helping maintain a sense of "newness" for returning visitors.
  • Assist in adapting technical or R&D content into clear, engaging visual stories suitable for customer audiences.

Marketing Presentations & Visual Assets
  • Support the development and polishing of marketing and customer presentations, including PowerPoint decks and visual storytelling materials.
  • Help format slides, visuals, and layouts to ensure presentations are on brand, visually compelling, and easy to follow.
  • Assist with updating presentation libraries and shared content repositories used by the Citrus Marketing team.

Cross-Functional & Project Support
  • Collaborate with R&D, and Taste and Scent Innovation teams to gather inputs for digital and presentation content.
  • Provide hands-on support for special projects related to customer visits, events, or immersive experiences at the Citrus Innovation Center.
  • Support basic content coordination tasks such as version control, updates, and internal reviews.

What You'll Gain
  • Real-world experience in B2B marketing, digital storytelling, and experiential customer engagement.
  • Exposure to how innovation, science, and marketing intersect in a global organization.
  • Hands-on involvement with cutting-edge digital installations and customer-facing environments.
  • A strong portfolio of digital, presentation, and experiential marketing work.

Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in content creation, digital experiences, and visual storytelling.
  • Comfortable working in PowerPoint; experience with visual or design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe, Figma) is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to translate complex information into clear, audience-friendly content.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

We are a global leader in taste, scent, and nutrition, offering our customers a broader range of natural solutions and accelerating our growth strategy. At IFF, we believe that your uniqueness unleashes our potential. We value the diverse mosaic of the ethnicity, national origin, race, age, sex, or veteran status.
