Job description

Work Type: Full-Time In-Office
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8 am to 5 pm (Pacific Time)
Location: Tukwila, WA or Gresham, OR

CTI has been a leading Audio Visual provider for over 37 years. Since we began in 1988, our mission has been simple: to provide a fantastic customer experience.
At CTI, our biggest asset is our people, and we know that sometimes the most awesome employees don't fit the typical mold. If you are hardworking, friendly, and know the importance of fantastic customer service, you could be a good fit at CTI. We have developed a collaborative and lively working environment, where the best and the brightest show up to work each day ready to have fun, and employ their passion for and knowledge of technology into everything they do. This creative atmosphere helps us apply and share our skills with our clients, who seek quality, high-end AV and Conference Solutions.
What are we looking for?
We are seeking a Customer Experience Associate who embodies our mission: "to provide a fantastic customer experience." This role is ideal for a dependable, personable, and organized professional who genuinely enjoys engaging with customers and collaborating with internal teams.
Our Customer Experience Associates are sharp, friendly administrative professionals who work closely with Sales, Technical, and Accounting Teams to support CTI's commitment to exceptional service. Often, the first point of contact with our customers, you will play a critical role in shaping their experience and perception of our company.
What are your responsibilities?
These responsibilities outline the core of the role, though flexibility is essential as we continue to embrace and leverage individual strengths:
  • Answer inbound phone and video calls from current and prospective customers, providing professional and welcoming service
  • Make outbound calls (less than 20%) to follow up on email or web inquiries
  • Gather customer audiovisual needs and accurately enter information into lead forms
  • Assist the Customer Care team with ongoing customer requests and support needs
  • Interact daily with high-level clients and executives, handling special or time-sensitive requests
  • Survey internal team members to gather feedback on cross-departmental customer experiences
  • Perform general administrative duties and other tasks as assigned
Will you fit in?
Our culture is our top priority. We are not seeking individuals who simply "punch a timecard." Instead, we are looking for team members who are engaged, proactive, and aligned with our values.
  • Embrace company culture with positivity and enthusiasm
  • Work independently with minimal supervision while knowing when to ask the right questions
  • Communicate clearly and professionally-verbally and in writing-and represent the company with confidence
Does experience count?
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-2 years of corporate or administrative experience required
  • 2 years of prior customer service experience required
What's in it for you?
  • Base salary $45,000 to $55,000 (DOE)
  • Employer-matched medical, dental, and prescription insurance (available after 60 days of employment)
  • Employer-matched 401(k) up to 3% (after 6 months of employment)
  • Bonus eligibility that is based on a results-oriented incentive plan (after 3 months of employment)
  • A graduated PTO program, all major holidays off, as well as three "floating" holidays (available upon first day of employment)
  • Special gifts for significant life events, such as marriage, the birth of a child, and buying a house
  • Cell phone reimbursement plan
  • Long-Term and Short-Term Disability 100% paid by CTI
  • Life Insurance 100% paid by CTI

CTI is an equal opportunity employer. We do not and shall not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, age, national origin, disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or military status in any of its activities or operations.
