  • Provide on-site event support, including load-in and load-out management, vendor coordination, and troubleshooting
  • Track RSVPs, guest lists, and sponsorship benefits, and manage ticketing logistics
  • Lead invoice tracking, auction and raffle item solicitation and intake, and vendor documentation
  • Maintain organized digital files, templates, and process documentation for events
  • Collaborate with the Communications team on event materials and outreach
  • Support the research, identification, cultivation, and solicitation of committee members, restaurants, and honorees
  • Secure raffle and auction items through vendor outreach, community partnerships, and in‑kind donation requests

  • Support the cultivation and stewardship of individual donors, including drafting acknowledgment letters, impact updates, and other donor communications
  • Assist with event revenue reconciliation and post-event reporting
  • Generate reports and pull lists to inform outreach and follow‑up
Administrative Support
  • Provide administrative support to the Development and Communication team
  • Process invoices and assist with expense tracking
  • Coordinate meetings and support general departmental needs
  • Assist with cross-team projects, tracking timelines and deliverables to help keep departmental initiatives on schedule
  • Maintain files and departmental documentation to support coordination across fundraising, communications, and advocacy work
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILL REQUIREMENTS
  • Commitment to the mission of Grand St. Settlement and community-centered work
  • 1–3 years of experience in nonprofit development, fundraising events, or a related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; personable and self-confident
  • Strong working knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM systems • Familiarity with ticketing or event management platforms
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google tools
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
